Page 1MRS. ORAL BEAMAN DIES
Mrs. Ernest Oral Beaman, life long resident of Madison county, died at her home in the Worthington neighborhood Sunday after an extended illness. Mrs. Beaman who was the former Ethel Leona Howard, was born in this county, February 21, 1890. She was a daughter of David A. and Sarah M. Howard.
In 1907 she was married to Mr. Beaman, and they were the parents of three children. Mr. Beaman and the two sons, Harold Ivan, and Leonard Gerald survive. A daughter Mildred Verleene preceded her mother in death. Mrs. Beaman also leaves three grandchildren, one brother, three sisters and her stepfather.
Rev. A. R. Weed, pastor of the West Star and Worthington churches conducted her funeral services at the Methodist church in Winterset, Tuesday afternoon at one-thirty o’clock. He was assisted by the pastor of the church, the Rev. L. H. Lanning. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
