Short funeral services were held at the Winterset cemetery Friday afternoon at four o’clock, for John McGee Link a former Winterset resident. Mr. Link who was 92 years of age, formerly lived on a farm in this county, but for the past twenty years has resided with his son Thomas Link at Ames. He had been in good health, for one of his age, until he was stricken with heart trouble Sunday, April 8th. He died on Tuesday, April 10. Services were held at the Adams Funeral home in Ames, Friday and the family and a few close friends came here for the burial rites.
