MRS. M. C. LAWRENCE DIES

Mrs. Mary McPherson Lawrence, former resident of this county, died at her home in Des Moines, January 2d, at the age of 72 years.

Funeral services were held at the Dunn funeral home in Des Moines and were conducted by Rev. Chas. W. Reeder. Burial was at the Winterset cemetery.

Mrs. Lawrence was born June 25, 1861, in Madison county. She was married to M. C. Lawrence April 20, 1884. They were the parents of four children, two of whom preceded her in death. She was an active member of the Ohio Baptist church, later transferring her membership to the Winterset church.

She is survived by her two children, Roy and Nell of Des Moines, and brother, D. W. McPherson, of Omaha, and one grandson.
