ALFRED F. HIBBARD

Alfred F. Hibbard, son of Samuel and Margaret Hibbard was born October 4th, 1854 at Monroe, Wisconsin; and departed this life March 3rd, 1944 at the age of 89 years, four months and 27 days. He was formerly a railroad man. He worked about 20 years for the Rock Island, but on losing an eye, came on a farm south of Earlham, in March 1901, and farmed as long as his health would permit.

He was married to Margaret E. Gresham July 24th, 1893. Two sons by a former marriage preceded him in death.

He leaves his wife, daughter and two adopted sons to mourn his loss.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Earlham, Sunday afternoon, March 5 at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Arthur Henry. Interment was made in the Earlham cemetery.
