Death Comes to Member of 1941 Graduating Class of Truro High
Truro - (Special) - Calvin Benjamin Camp, 17 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Camp of near Truro, died on Tuesday of last week at the hospital in Osceola.
The youth had been a member of the graudating class of 1941 at the Truro high school.
He was the son of E. J. and Clara Camp, and was born April 21, 1924, near Murray. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services were held from the Madison Chapel church last Thursday, in charge of the Rev. Marguerite Shepard. Burial was made in the Union cemetery

Services for Calvin Camp, 17, of near Murray, were held at Madison Chapel Thursday and interment was in Union cemetery. Services were conducted by Watts Funeral Home of Murray with Rev. Marguerite Shepard officiating.
Calvin died in an Osceola hospital Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Calvin Benjamin, youngest son of E.J. and Clara Camp was born April 21st, 1924, near Murray, Iowa and departed this life at Osceola, Ia., Nov. 11th, 1941 at the age of 17 years, 6 months, 20 days; after 3 weeks of intense suffering. All that medical skill and loving hands could do were of no avail and he passed peacefully away to be with Jesus.
Ben, as he was known by all, was a member of the Loyal Hustlers Sunday School class at Madison Chapel and was a faithful attendant. He graduated from the Truro High School with the class of '41. His cheery smile and sunny disposition won for him a place in the hearts of all who knew him and he will be sadly missed by his schoolmates and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother Clifford, who passed away in 1916.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his heart-broken parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, a brother-in-law, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 1 grandmother and a large number of other relatives and friends.
