CLAUDE RUBY DIES

Word has been received here of the death of Claude Ruby, former Winterset resident, in Los Angeles, Cal., Tuesday, May 13th. Mr. Ruby who was 73 years of age, died after a week's illness with pneumonia.

He is survived by his wife, a son Albert, and a sister, Miss Blanche Ruby, all of Los Angeles.

Mr. Ruby was raised here, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Ruby. His father was Consul to Ireland at one time. The Rubys left Winterset about thirty years ago, and have since made their home in California.

Private services 4 p.m. today from the Little Church of the Flowers, Forest Lawn. Pierce Brothers, directors.
