CORA HENERY Of Winterset Dies

Cora Henery, one of Winterset's oldest residents, died Saturday, July 17, 1965, at a nursing home here. She was 91 years of age, and had lived in Winterset most of her long life.

Miss Henery was a native of Ohio, where she was born Jan. 13, 1874, a daughter of William C. and Sarah E. Leach Henery. She came to Wintersset early in life.

During her active life she was employed in secretarial work, but had been retired for many years. She was active in the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset, of which she was a long time member.

Miss Henery's nearest surviving relative is a niece, Mrs. Joseph J Fraser of Fresno, Calif.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
