CARL WEBB DIES

Former Resident Succumbs April 4 at Age of 56 Years

Carl C. Webb, who lived 10 years of his early life on a farm north of Winterset, died April 4 at Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Webb, whose home was in Lawrence, Kan., was a brother of Mrs. Walter Comp of near Winterset.

He was 56 years old at the time of his death. Born at Danvers, Ill., he spent 10 years of his youth in this community.

Funeral services were held Monday from Funk's Chapel in Lawrence, and burial was made in the Oak Hill cemetery there.

Former Resident Dies In Missouri

Carl C. Webb of Lawrence, Mo., a former resident of Madison county. Having lived in Douglas township ten years, died Friday, April 4, in Kansas City, Mo.

Funeral services were held Monday in Funk’s Chapel with the Rev. T. H. Aszman conducting. Burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mr. Webb is survived by one sister, Mrs. Walter Comp of Winterset; one brother, Ed Webb of Warrensburg, Mo.; two half-brothers, Irl of Normal, Ill., and John of Danvers, Ill.; foster mother, Mrs. Mary Webb of Bloomington, Ill., and a son, Dean Webb of Kansas City.
