MRS. C. H. WHEELER OF MACKSBURG DIES

Funeral Rites Were Held In Methodist Church There on Sunday

Macksburg (Special)--Funeral services for Mrs. Cyrus H. Wheeler, long-time resident of this community, whose death occurred at Winterset last Friday, were held from the Macksburg church Sunday.

Mrs. Wheeler was the former Martha Mobley, daughter of H. and Rilda Mobley, and was born on a farm southeast of Macksburg on Jan. 10, 1876. She was 65 years of age at the time of her death.

She was married, on Aug. 23, 1894, to Cyrus H. Wheeler. Forty-four years of their married life were spent on their farm near here.

Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler were the parents of six sons and one daughter. One son died in infancy, but all the other children survive their mother.

In addition to her husband, she leaves the six children, Weaver Wheeler of Iowa Falls, Mrs. Mabel Brown of Murray, Collus Wheeler of Des Moines, Lee Wheeler of Lorimor, Elva Wheeler of Macksburg, and Elza Wheeler of Lorimor; a sister, Mrs. Nora Berber of Panora; and five brothers, Eli and Charlie Mobley of Marshalltown, Dettie and Ejie Mobley of Stuart, and Walter Mobley of Iowa Falls. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The Rev. B. R. Weetman conducted the funeral services Sunday, and burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
