Funeral services were held last Wednesday in Winterset for James E. Thompson, a former resident of Madison county, whose death occurred Sunday, Feb. 14 at Clarinda.
Mr. Thompson was born in Madison county Dec. 23, 1883 and was 70 years of age at his death. (was the son of Robert L. and Henrietta C. (Clark) Thompson).
The services were held here from the Anderson home for funerals. Burial was made in the McDonald cemetery.
