BESSIE POINDEXTER BURIED HERE MONDAY

Mrs. Bessie Poindexter, a former resident of this community, died at Altoona last Saturday, Feb. 27. She was 81 years of age.

Mrs. Poindexter is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joe Boyce of Whittier, Calif.; four sons, Ray Poindexter of Denver, Neal Poindexter of Des Moines, Chester Poindexter of Spokane, Wash., and Jess Poindexter of Laramie, Wyo.; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Brownell and Mrs. Ray Brenner of Des Moines; and a brother, Charles Dean of Spokane. Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset conducted by the Rev. Mr. Morris of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery
