Wednesday, November 24, 1954MRS. CHARLES PERRY DIES ON WEST COAST
Mrs. Charles Perry of Myrtle Creek, Ore., died last Saturday Nov. 20 at a hospital in Portland in that state, according to word received by relatives in Winterset.
Mrs. Perry was the former Edith L. Simmons of Peru, where she spent her early life and where she graduated from high school. She left here about 1938 and had been living on the west coast.
Her death followed an illness of about three weeks. She was 45 years of age.
Mrs. Perry leaves her husband, Charles Perry of Myrtle Creek; three children; her mother, Mrs. Charlotte E. Simmons of Winterset; and two brothers, Dale Simmons of Winterset and L. F. Simmons of Yakima, Wash.
Burial was made at Yakima.
