Mrs. George Perkins, a native of the Patterson community, died March 13 at Thurman, according ro word received here this week. Burial was made March 16 at Tabor. She was 72 years of age.
Mrs. Perkins was the former Jennie May Booth, daughter of Charles and Elvina Booth. She was born at Patterson, Dec. 8, 1881. Most of her early life was spent in that community. She was married to George Perkins of Winterset in 1904.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Ralph Perkins of Glenwood and Hubert Perkins of Tabor; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Bird of Malvern and Mrs. Stoddard Adams of Glenwood; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Peacock of St. Clair, Mo., Mrs. Jessie Brown of Campbell, Calif., and Mrs. Hubert Woolery of Earlham; and four brothers, James and Clarence Booth of Ft. Dodge, Clyde Booth of Lander, Wyo., and Roy Booth of Forbestown, Calif.
