PAUL PATON DIED IN DES MOINES SUNDAY

Paul T. Paton of Chariton, son of Mrs. Lulu Paton of Winterset, died Sunday at the home of his wife's parents in Des Moines. He was 51 years of age and had been ill with cancer.

Mr. Paton had been a postal clerk at Chariton for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Estaline; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Holmes of Chariton; his mother and a sister, Martha Paton, both of Winterset; and three brothers, Richard Paton of Des Moines, Gerald Paton of Chariton and Ralph Paton of Alexandria, Va.

Funeral services and burial were held Tuesday at Chariton.
