Death of Retired Madison County Farmer Occurs at 84 Years of Age
Frank Nair of Winterset prominent retired farmer, died Saturday April 3, at the Horton Nursing home in Winterset. He was 81 years of age.
William Frank Nair was born Sept. 17, 1869 in Hancock county, Illinois. He came to Madison county in 1906 and his active years were spent in farming in this community. His home had been in Winterset for the past seven years.
He was married to Anna May Bingle at Oskaloosa on March 4, 1896. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Warren Nair of Peru; a daughter, Mrs. Aziel Rhodes of South Gate, Calif.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Clara Rand of Carthage, Illinois.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home conducted by the Rev. Earl Travis of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
