Death Mrs. W. L. Van Horn

Mrs. W. L. Van Horn died at her home in Pomona, California, Thursday, April 10th. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 12th, at 3 o’clock. Mr. and Mrs. Van Horn were former residents of Winterset, living for a number of years in the house on West Court avenue, now occupied by Mrs. Minnie Embree. They left here about twenty years ago, moving to Kansas and then to California. Mrs. Van Horn was about eighty years of age at the time of her death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Cox and Bertha, of California, and two sons, Melvin of Los Angeles, and Joe, of Seattle, Washington. Mr. Van Horn preceded her in death eight years ago. Mrs. Z. A. Wynkoop and Mrs. Loren Eyerly are nieces of Mrs. Van Horn, and Lynn McComb, of Des Moines, a nephew.
