BERT MISNER BURIED TUESDAY

Walnut Township Farmer Died at Memorial Hospital

Bert E. Misner, a resident of the Peru community, since 1915 died Sunday, Dec. 12 at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset after a brief illness. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Misner was born Aug. 27, 1889 at Arapaho, Nebr., a son of Charles and Martha Lewis Misner. When he was a small child the family moved to eastern Illinois where his early life was spent.

In 1911 he was married at Watseka, Ill., to Edna Salsbury. They came to Madison county in 1915, and the remainder of his life was spent farming in Walnut township.

He is survived by his wife; three children, Mrs. Mildred Cherry of Martensdale, Jack Misner of Des Moines and Mrs. Evelyn Curnes of Winterset; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held here Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in Montpelier cemetery near Patterson.
