EMMA JANE FREY DIED HERE THURSDAY

Mrs. Emma Jane Frey, a long-time resident of Madison county, died Wednesday, July 14, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Frey was the former Emma Jane Davis, daughter of John and Margaret Davis. She was born in Dallas county Oct. 18, 1880. In 1897 she was married to John Brayman. They were parents of five children of which one son, Charles, died in infancy. Mr. Brayman died in 1928.

Her second marriage was to Otto Frey in 1929. He survives her.

Mrs. Frey moved to Madison county in 1908 and with the exception of a few years at Lorimor, this county since had been her home.

In addition to her husband, she leaves four children; Mrs. Mary Brittain of Earlham, Floyd of Winterset, Mrs. Myrtle Huss of Des Moines and Mrs. Bessie Clopton of Van Meter. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
