INFANT DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. LEONARD HESS DIES

Doris Ann Hess, daughter of Arnold and Orrella Hess, was born May 14, 1941, at Truro, Iowa, and passed away Dec. 11, 1941, at the age of 6 months and 26 days, following an illness of 24 hours with broncial pneumonia.

She leaves to mourn her death, her father and mother, four sisters, Georgia, Lois and Mary at home, and Freda Schoff of Murray, and six brothers, Boyd, Billy, Edward, Mack and Dale at home, and Guy of Truro. One nephew, Johnnie Schoff. She also leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edd Hess of Winterset, and George Cram of Prole, several aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Funeral services were held at the Elm Grove Methodist church last Friday and burial was made in the King cemetery.
