MORTUARY

Mrs. Ida May Baker passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Stump, Jan. 14, 1941, at the age of 75 years, 10 months, 10 days. She was born at Allamakee county, Iowa, March 5, 1865.

She was united in marriage to Charles A. Chase in 1884, and to this union two children were born: Joseph C. Chase of California, and Mrs. Arthur Stump of St. Charles.

Mr. Chase passed away in 1927 at Mt. Pleasant, Ia. She came to Madison county in 1898 and was united in marriage to Earastos Rodell Baker in 1899. Five children were born to this union, four dying in infancy; one son living, Mr. Fred R. Baker of Rochester, Minn. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in the Ramsey-Richards funeral home at 1:30 Thursday afternoon in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong. Burial was made in the United Brethren cemetery northeast of Winterset.
