JEHU WILSON DIED MONDAY MORNING

Jehu Wilson died at his home north of Earlham, early Monday morning. He lived his entire life in this community. He was sick only a short time before his death which was due to pneumonia.

OBITUARY

Jehu Wilson, son of Samuel and Mary Wilson, passed on to the great Beyond on the morning of October 13, 1941 at the age of 72 years, two months and 17 days. He was born near Earlham, July 27, 1869 and lived his entire life on the same farm. He was a birthright member of the Society of Friends and took an interest in all church activities.

He was united in marriage to Hattie M. Stubbs, March 22, 1892, at Earlham, Iowa. Had he lived until March, 1942 they would have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Three children were born to this union: Frank J., Hugh A., and Marion S. He was the last of a family of eight children. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, three sons and their wives, three grandchildren: Martha Koboldt, Helen and Floyd Wilson, a number of nephews and nieces.

He was loved by his friends and neighbors and will be greatly missed by town and community.

Funeral services were held at the Earlham Friends church, Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Leonard Hall conducted the services. Burial was made at the Earlham cemetery.
