MRS. RUTH GRABILL DIES

Van Meter (Special) July 18.--

Mrs. Ruth Grabill passed away Monday, July 11th, at her home at 1801 Pleasant street, Des Moines. Mrs. Grabill, a former resident of this vicinity, was eighty-eight years old and had been in failing health the last few months. Mr. Grabill, and a daughter, Fleeda, died a number of years ago.

She is survived by one daughter, Mildred of Des Moines, a son, Harry of Los Angeles, Cal., a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Shambaugh of Van Meter and two brothers, Harry Gutshall of Van Meter and George A. Gutshall of Booneville.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at Dunn's funeral home in Des Moines with the Rev. Paul Becker pastor of the University Church of Christ officiating. Interment was made in the Union Chapel cemetery here.
