Mrs. Mary Keeler, who had been an invalid for many years, died at her home about four miles west of here, last Thursday, July 5th. The deceased was born in Union County, Ohio, August 6th, 1826. She came with her parents to Keokuk county, Iowa, in 1847. She was married to Baker Keeler in 1856. She was the mother of three children, two of whom, Mrs. Laura Hamilton and Lincoln Keeler, survive her.
Mrs. Keeler has been a faithful Christian and a member of the Methodist church for many years. She was a half sister of the late Rev. Arthur Badley. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. E. Trueblood at the home of the deceased. The interment was made in the Kivett cemetery.
