Mrs. John Heidbreder Dies

Mrs. Nancy Huston Heidbreder, elderly resident of Winterset, died at her home here last Thursday as the result of years of failing health. She was 85 years of age. (d. 7-23-1936)

Mrs. Heidbreder was the daughter of Jacob and Matilda Huston and was born November 16, 1851 in Star county, Ohio. At the age of three years she came with her parents to Van Buren county, Iowa. There she was married on July 16, 1867 to Henry Webb. They were the parents of two daughters, Amanda and Leanna.

Shortly after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Webb came to Madison county and here she made her home for 69 years. In 1911 she was married to John Heidbreder. He died in 1933. One daughter, Mrs. Amanda Trester, also preceded her mother, dying in 1927.

As a child she was united with the Baptist church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leanna Clear of Winterset, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from Tidrick's funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. H. L. Olmstead of the Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
