SWAN NELSON DIES

Swan Nelson, former Winterset resident, died at the home of his son Frank Nelson in Oklahoma City, last week, and his funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Albia, Sunday afternoon, Nov. 6th. Mr. Nelson resided here with his son and family while Frank Nelson served as cashier of the First National bank. He was 86 years of age.

The people from here who drove to Albia to attend the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. William E. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. V. M. Ritter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wicks and Herman Pope and family.

(Cemetery records indicate Swan Nelson is buried in the Oakview Cemetery at Albia, Iowa)
