ALICE PENNINGTON PASSED SATURDAY

Had Lived Past 10 Years With Sister in Douglas Township

Mrs. Alice Pennington, who for the past 10 years had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. McDonald of Douglas township, died Saturday at the Winterset hospital. She was 63 years of age.

Mrs. Pennington was the daughter of Thomas and Lida Oldham, and was born in Kansas on Sept. 19, 1878. She came to Iowa as a young girl, but later moved to Missouri. While living in Missouri she united with the Baptist church.

Nearest surviving relative is her sister, Mrs. McDonald.

Funeral services were conducted here from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. Von B. Elbert, pastor of the local Baptist church. Burial was made in the McDonald cemetery.
