Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Young of Webster Township
Raymond D. Young, only son of Mr. and Mrs. William Young of Webster township, died at the Winterset hospital Monday after a lingering illness. He was 15 years of age.
The youth was born near Winterset on July 14, 1926. He had been in ill health for a number of years. He is survived by his parents.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. Arthur Mortenson, pastor of the Winterset Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Raymond Young, 15-year-old Madison county youth, died at the Winterset hospital Monday evening, following several weeks of ill health.
Funeral services were held at the Anderson funeral home Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock with the Rev. Arthur Mortenson, pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating. The pallbearers were Lyle Ramsey, Dean Crow, Ivan Hart, Earl Crawford, James Moorhead and Edgar Drake. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
Raymond Duane Young was born in Webster township July 14, 1926, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Young. He spent his entire life in Madison county on his parents’ farm.
