MRS. CLARA FROELICH DIED HERE SATURDAY

Succumbed After Illness of Few Weeks at Home of sister Here

Mrs. Clara Estelle Froelich, member of a prominent old Winterset family, died here last Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lauritz Nielsen.

Mrs. Froelich was the daughter of Capt. and Mrs. Robert A. Stitt. She was born in this community and spent the early years of her life here. She was married first to Charles Ervin Bevington and they made their home here. He died many years ago and in 1921 she was married to Louis Froelich. Since then her home had been in Des Moines. Mr. Froelich died in 1936. During her fatal illness, which was of short duration, she had been here at the home of her sister.

Mrs. Froelich was long a member of the Methodist church and was affiliated with the Winterset chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Near surviving relatives are the brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Nielsen and their children, Eugene V. Nielson and Mrs. Hilda Estelle Boys.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. Mr. Vogle of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
