Funeral Rites Were Held on Tuesday by the Rev. L. F. Davis
Mrs. Emma Goff of near Winterset died at her home just west of the city Sunday after several years of failing health. She was 50 years of age.
Mrs. Goff was born Emma Thompson, at Corning on March 18, 1888. On October 3, 1912, she was married to Corb M. Goff. They were the parents of four children, all of whom survive.
In early womanhood, she united with the Baptist association.
She leaves her four children: Madge Irene of Des Moines, and Lorraine Fontella and Ruby Ilene of Winterset, and Kenneth Goff of Winterset; two brothers, Roscoe Thompson of Des Moines and Homer Thompson of Stockton, Cal.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Swisher of Seiling, Okla., and Mrs. Lena Joseph of Little Rock, Ark.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from Tidrick's funeral home in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis, of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
