ROLLIN WALKER OF WINTERSET PASSES

Funeral Services Held on Tuesday for Aged Resident

Rollin Walker, for many years a farmer in Webster township, and since 1921 a resident of Winterset, died at his home here last Saturday. He was 86 years of age.

Mr. Walker was born in Switzerland county, Indiana, on May 13, 1852, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Walker. At the age of 4 years, he came to Iowa with his parents.

He was married to Miss Susan Wilson on March 19, 1885. They made their home in Webster township until 1921, when they moved to Winterset.

He leaves his widow, and three sons: Amos of Cresco, Otis of Winterset and Virgil of Lake Chrystal, Minn. One son, Neal, died in 1916.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Methodist church in Winterset in charge of the pastor, the Rev. M. R. Talley, assisted by the Rev. O. K. Schlesselman of the Oak Grove church.
