BOBBY HATHAWAY DIES

Bobby Hathaway, two and one-half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Hathaway of Patterson died at the Winterset hospital Tuesday afternoon, March 8th. The child had been ill for several weeks and was brought to the Winterset hospital last Friday for treatment of pneumonia. The body was taken to St. Charles, and funeral arrangements had not been made when the Madisonian went to press.

News of Interest from St. Charles

Rev. and Mrs. Carnahan went to Patterson Thursday morning where the former conducted funeral services for Bobby Hathaway, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Hathaway, who died of pneumonia Tuesday at the Winterset hospital. Funeral services were held at the home and the body taken to Oskaloosa for burial.

(Cemetery records indicate he was buried in the St. Charles cemetery and that his death date was March 9, 1939)
