Edward Baker Dies

Edward Baker, aged Madison county resident, died at the county home, on June 16, at the age of 83 years. Mr. Baker, who was born in Georgia on January 9, 1853, came to this county in 1926. He made his home with a sister, Sarah Baker of Barney and a nephew Rufus Baker.

He was a member of the Methodist church, having joined when a young man. He leaves his sister, Sarah Baker and nephew Rufus Baker of Barney and two brothers.

The Rev. H. L. Olmstead conducted his funeral services which were held at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, last Wednesday morning at ten o'clock and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
