RUTH HILBERY OF MACKSBURG DIES

Young Woman Died Last Saturday at Oakdale Hospital

Miss Ruth Edith Hilbery, widely known young woman of near Macksburg died Saturday at the state hospital at Oakdale. She had been seriously ill since last spring. She was 28 years of age.

Miss Hilbery was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hilbery of near Macksburg, and had spent her entire life in that community. She attended the Macksburg school and graduated from the high school there with the class of 1928.

She was an active member of the Methodist church in Macksburg and took a leading part in Epworth League work there.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Miss Audrey Hilbery; and a brother, Rodney Hilbery of Grant.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Methodist church in Macksburg, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. M. D. Summerbell. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
