11-YEAR-OLD BOY SUCCUMBED MONDAY

Dean Headlund of Lincoln Township is Victim of Leuchemia

Dean Ellis Headlund, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Headlund of Lincoln township, died at the home of his parents Monday after three years of failing health. His illness had been diagnosed as leuchemia.

The child was born at Churchville, but the last 10 years of his life had been spent in Lincoln township.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Tidrick funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. C. Lilie. Burial was made in the Hooten cemetery.
