HARRY HOLBROOK DIES

Former Resident Succumbs at Home in Texas at Age of 74

Harry E. Holbrook, formerly a well-known Winterset resident, died at his home in Sweetwater, Tex., on January 23, according to word received here this week.

Mr. Holbrook had been in ill health for the past two years. He was 74 years of age.

He had spent most of his life in Winterset, and for years worked as a printer and advertising solicitor on the Old Winterset Reporter. He was a musician of ability, and about 20 years ago went on the road with a traveling show. A few years ago he married for the second time and settled on a farm near Sweetwater, Tex., where he lived until his death.
