Joan Lucile Cain, daughter of Carroll and Zayda Cain, was born September 28, 1933 at Winterset, Ia., and passed away August 22, 1937 at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines at the age of 3 years, 10 months and 24 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother and brother, a step-father, and step-brother, her grandparents, aunts, uncles and many friends.
She had attended Sunday school at the Church of Christ and was dearly loved by all who knew her for her sunny smile and sweet disposition.
Funeral services were held August 24 from Tidrick's funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. L. Olmstead of the Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
