MRS. MARY NOLAN SUCCUMBED SUNDAY

Funeral Rites to Be Held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's

Mrs. Mary R. Nolan, a resident of Winterset for the past 27 years died at her home here early Sunday. She would have been 78 years of age on October 19. She had been in failing health for several years.

Mrs. Nolan was the former Mary R. Kiernan and was born at Kewanee, Ill., on October 19, 1859. She was married to Nicholas J. Nolan at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Winterset on June 15, 1910. Since then her home had been in Winterset. Her husband died several years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Frances M. Kiernan of Detroit, Mich., and three brothers, John F. Kiernan of Detroit, and Patrick J. and Thomas P. Kiernan of Galesburg, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from St. Joseph's Catholic church in Winterset in charge of the Rev. Father Kelleher. Interment will be made in the Kiernan family plot in Mr. Olivet cemetery at Kewanee, Ill.
