DEATH OF CLAUDE POTTER

Claude Potter, former Madison county resident, died in Orange, California, May 19th from a heart attack, according to word received by local relatives. Mr. Potter who was 43 years of age was a son of Mr. an Mrs. N. W. Potter, and was born on a farm north of Patterson. He lived here until he was eight years old, when the family moved to California, where they have since resided. He was a deputy sheriff and was on official duty when he was stricken.

He is survived by his wife and their son, George, by this father and two brothers, Raymond and Glenn Potter, also of Orange. He was a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Fogler of Patterson and a cousin of the Potters now residing in this county.

Funeral and burial services were held in Orange.
