DEATH OF MRS. S. M. BECK

Former Teacher Here, Died at Creston Hospital Following Four Weeks Illness

Mrs. Samuel M. Beck died Monday of this week at a Creston hospital, where she had been under hospital care for the past four weeks.

Mrs. Beck, who was formerly a teacher in the schools of this county, will be remembered by many as Etta Brown, whose parental home was in the Worthington neighborhood. Her husband died six years ago near Orient where they family lived for many years.

Near relatives are a daughter, Ruth Beck of Chicago, Floyd of Muscatine, and Mildred (Mrs. Cliff Somers), of Washington, Ia.

She also leaves one brother, Robert Brown of Winterset and two sisters, Mrs. Ol Purdy and Mrs. Rankin of Orient.
