BARBARA JEAN McDOWELL DIES

Barbara Jean McDowell, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess McDowell, died Tuesday evening at the home of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Beem. The little girl had been ill with whooping cough and scarlet fever this winter. Two weeks ago she developed pneumonia and was brought to the Beem home, where it was thought she was recuperating satisfactorily. Heart trouble developed causing her death.

She leaves her parents, and a brother, Teddy Wayne. Funeral arrangements had not yet been made when the Madisonian went to press.
