KATHERINE GROTH, 26 SUCCUMBED SUNDAY

Young Woman of Union Was Life-Long Victim of Ill Health

Katherine Caroline Groth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Groth of Union township, died at her home Sunday. She was 26 years of age.

Miss Groth had never known good health, but in spite of her life-long illness, she took an active interest in the Methodist church, of which she was a member.

Miss Groth was born September 6, 1911. She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Everett and Lloyd, a sister, Louise; and a wide circle of friends. Her twin brother, Kermit, died at the age of six weeks.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Methodist church in Winterset in charge of the pastor, the Rev. M. R. Talley. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
