Death of Mrs. Nellie Eling

Mrs. Nellie Wilson Eling, former Madison county resident, died last Thursday at her home in Avon, South Dakota, after an extended illness. Mrs. Eling who was 47 years of age, had been ill for some time with cancer.

Her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tidrick and Mrs. Ray Wilson drove to South Dakota, last Friday to attend her funeral services which were held at Avon on Saturday. Burial was made at Mitchell, South Dakota.

Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, who formerly lived on a farm nine miles west of Winterset. She left here in 1912 with her parents and they all have since resided in South Dakota. Mrs. Eling is survived by her husband, her parents, who reside in Kimball, South Dakota and a number of brothers and sisters.

The Tidricks and Wilsons returned to Winterset Monday night.
