Lorraine Mercurio, former Madison county resident, died at St. Joseph's hospital in Omaha Tuesday morning. She was the former Lorraine Korner.
The body of Mrs. Mercurio was to arrive here Thursday for rites and burial. Short services will be held from the Tidrick funeral home Saturday.
Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.

Services for Mrs. Nicholas Mercurio, 45, were held at the Tidrick funeral home at nine o’clock Saturday morning by the Rev. William Hahessy. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery. Mrs. Mercurio died early Wednesday morning, July 15, at St. Joseph’s hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
She was the former Lorraine Korner, only child of Charles and Ida Allen Korner, both deceased, and was born in Winterset july 15, 1892. She attended school here and was married in 1916. Since that time she had lived in Omaha.
Her health failed her about a year ago and in April she entered St. Joseph’s hospital.
Services were held at the Swedish Lutheran church in Omaha July 15. Her husband survives.
