Delbert Ray Garrett

Delbert Ray Garrett was born may 2, 1930 in Harden county and moved with his parents to Madison county in 1934. He passed from this life January 6, 1936 at the age of five years, nine months and four days, at the Winterset hospital.

He leaves to mourn his departure his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Garrett, one sister, Patricia Lou and one brother Howard Miller Garret of Lorimor, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clell Garrett of Winterset and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Macksburg on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. M. D. Summerbell. The body was laid to rest in the Macksburg cemetery.
