MRS. MARY TRESTER DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Mary A. Trester, a native of Madison county and a long-time resident of Winterset, died Feb. 13 at her home in Huntington Beach, Calif., according to word received here this week. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Trester left here 24 years ago to make her home at Huntington Beach.

Surviving are four sons, Glenn and Alvin Trester of Huntington Beach, Dwight of Newhall, Calif., and Royal of Midway City, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Wright of Winterset, Mrs. Marie Poindexter and Mrs. Althea Oliver of Denver; and Mrs. Edna Aikin of Marshalltown; a brother, Joe Brittain of Earlham; a sister, Mrs. Ida Gowin of Hermosa Beach, California; 21 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at Huntington Beach.
