The County and the City

Grandma Allen died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Korner, in the northeast part of the city, on Wednesday, aged 82 years. She was the widow of H. O. Allen, who died seventeen years ago, and her maiden name was Rhoda Ann Caleb. Her only son arrived from Albany, New York in time for the funeral on Thursday afternoon. The sermon was preached by Rev. L. E. Follansbee and she was buried in the Winterset cemetery.
