FRANK SPAIN DIES AT VETERANS HOSPITAL

BEVINGTON – Frank Spain of Bevington died at the Veteran’s hospital in Des Moines on Tuesday July 1, after a week of failing health. He was a veteran of the First World War

Surviving are his wife, the former Delia Cassady; a son, Charles Spain; three sisters and four brothers

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Church of the Assumption at Churchville, with the Rev. Father Meir of St Marys officiating at the requiem high mass. Burial was made in Calvary cemetery.
