MRS. FLOYD ROSS RITES AT MACKSBURG

Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd Ross, whose death occurred Oct. 20 at the Memorial hospital in Winterset, were held Oct. 23 from the Macksburg Methodist church. The Rev. Mr. Rowe conducted the services. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.

Mrs. Ross was the former Pauline Cochran, daughter of Lee and Mate Cochran. She was born April 30, 1905. She was married to Floyd Ross, Jan. 1, 1927. They were the parents of six children, Donald Eugene, who preceded her in death, Clair Ross of DeSoto, Mrs. Doris Harper of Macksburg, and David, Dorothy and Dean Ross, at home.

In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her parents, a brother, Wesley Cochran of Fort Dodge; two sisters, Elizabeth Cochran of Des Moines, and Mrs. Ino Smid of Kirkman; and three grandchildren.
