MRS. WALTER ROSS DIES AT 74 YEARS

Mrs. Walter F. Ross, a resident of Madison county nearly all her life, died Thursday, June 5th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brittain of Macksburg. Mrs. Ross was 74 years of age. She had been bedfast for some time, and had been cared for in the Brittain home since leaving the hospital several months ago.

Mrs. Ross was the former Mary Ann McKibben. She was born in Madison county, Nov. 20, 1878.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Henry of Des Moines; two sons, Floyd Ross of Winterset and Fred Ross of Macksburg; 17 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Macksburg Methodist church. In charge of the Rev. Mr. Wilkins. Burial was made in the Macksburg Cemetery.
