Winterset, IowaCHARLES S. KELLEY DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Charles S. Kelley, a former resident of Winterset and Earlham, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at his home in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Mr. Kelley had moved to California in 1945, after retiring from farming in Iowa. He is survived by his wife, the former Addie A. Emerson, to whom he was married in 1904 in Madison county.
He also leaves three children, Mrs. Virgil Kelley of Greeley, Colo., and Mrs. Clarence Reise and Mrs. Clarence Underhill, both of Santa Barbara.
Funeral services were held Nov. 14 at Santa Barbara, with burial made in the Santa Barbara cemetery.
